Times of Aikido Classes

We hold adult aikido classes (over 16's only) on:

Tuesday evenings from 8.30pm to 10pm
Thursday evenings from 8pm to 9.30pm
Saturday mornings from 8am to 9.30am weapons classes

Teachers

Sensei John Garmston - 4th Dan
	Started Aikido training in 1981. Long term student of Sensei Sargeant 6th Dan, attended numerous Iwama Ryu GB Aikido courses including Uchi Deshi courses held in the Orwell dojo. Regularly attends Uchi Deshi held by Sensei Sargeant in Kefalonia, Greece. Holds Full BAB Coach Award.

Sensei Peter Hagger - 3rd Dan

Started Aikido training in 1991.
Long term student of Sensei Sargeant 6th Dan, attended numerous Iwama Ryu GB Aikido courses including Uchi Deshi courses held in the Orwell dojo & national courses in Russia (1996, 2000, 2001, 2002).
Attended courses held under the supervision of Saito Sensei (Birmingham 1994, Paris 2000, Iwama dojo 2001).
Regularly attends Uchi Deshi held by Sensei Sargeant in Kefalonia, Greece.
Holds Full BAB Coach Award.

Costs per session for members of Takemusu Iwama Aikido Europe are:

Weapons Classes

In addition to the regular club nights, weapons classes are held on Saturday mornings from 8.00am to 9.30am.

Classes are held in the gravelled area outside the main entrance to the Palmer Park building & cost £3. Please bring bokken & jo.

Buy 5 classes get one free! Print off the Super 6 Vouchers to obtain 6 lessons for the price of 5. £30 for 6 lessons means classes work out at £5 rather than £6.

Pay for your Super 6 vouchers online

Vouchers must be validated before use & must be used within one month.

To validate vouchers: bring completed vouchers & payment (or proof of payment) to class for the Sensei to validate. You can start using your validated vouchers right away.

Membership Fees

To join our organisation (Takemusu Iwama Aikido Europe) costs £30 p.a. which includes B.A.B. insurance.

Aikido for Beginners

Our 6 week 'Beginner's Introduction to Aikido' course take place every 3 months & is the ideal way to start your aikido training. However, if the beginner's course doesn't suit you, you are very welcome to come along at anytime & begin your aikido training by taking advantage of our '4 Class Trial'.

A '4 Class Trial' costs £30 & offers you the chance to attend 4 lessons on regular club nights to experience aikido training for yourself. At the end of your trial you will be required to join the club should you wish to continue training.

Aikido Seminars

Takemusu Iwama Aikido Europe hold regular training courses to further students knowledge & understanding of Iwama Aikido. Members of Reading Zenshin Aikido Club will be able to take advantage of these seminars.
